2. Causes and solutions

① Reason: Excessive margin at the glass edge or fast conveying speed

     Solution: It is recommended to reduce the glass allowance by 1-2mm on one side, and adjust the conveyor speed of the belt according to the thickness of the glass

② Reason for occurrence: The glass did not enter along the fixed edge against the wheel, causing a single grinding wheel to break the glass

     Solution: Readjust the fixed edge and move the edge support wheel&  

③ Reason for occurrence: The angle of the diamond wheel is not correct (i.e. grinding of the rear foot)

     Solution: The front foot of the grinding wheel excessively cuts the lower edge of the glass, while the rear foot cuts the upper edge of the glass (with the direction of the input being the front and the direction of the output being the rear foot)

④ Reason for occurrence: The grinding wheel used has quality issues, poor cutting force, and the sound of grinding glass is also too loud. In addition, the grinding ratio of the grinding head distribution has not been adjusted properly

     Solution: Replace the grinding wheel and readjust the cutting ratio of the grinding wheel

⑤ Reason: The cooling water pipe is blocked, does not reach the grinding point, or the cooling water is insufficient, resulting in insufficient water pressure and inability to cool the grinding wheel

     Solution: Remove debris such as water pumps, water distribution pipes, grinding wheel water pipes, and glass powder deposits

⑥ Reason: The bearing of the grinding head motor is damaged or the clearance between the bearings is too large, causing radial runout and axial bouncing of the grinding wheel

     Solution: Replace damaged or excessively large motor bearings in a timely manner

⑦ Reason for occurrence: The equipment has been used for a long time and the rough grinding base has become loose, resulting in vibration during the glass cutting process

     Solution: Strengthen the fastening screws on the side of the motor base to make the motor sliding plate move in and out flexibly without vibration
